Valentino Garavani is famous for his elegant but sexy evening gowns, as well as his signature color "valentino red". He discovered this color in the early 60's in Rome when visiting an opera house, he said he realized that everything was red like poppies and that there was no more elegant color after white and black. Valentino retired in 2007 but he remains one of the most sought after designers by royalty and celebrities alike.
