Gianni Versace was the Italian fashion designer and head of the Versace fashion house. He is famous for his scandalously revealing clothing that despite the lack of material stayed perfectly in place. He is known for his tedious work with plush leathers and chain mail. Gianni Versace was murdered in 1997 in front of his miami home by serial spree murderer Andrew Cananan. His sister Donatella now operates as head of the fashion house with her daughter owning Gianni's share of the fashion house.
